Originally a native of San Luis Obispo, and an explorer of the Central Coast, I grew a desire to learn as much as I could about anything I managed to get my hands on. This constant desire for new experiences created an adventurous spirit and afforded me the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally through exposure to many roles and environments: from the front-line to executive operations leadership, through human resources and corporate education into labor relations and union management. I developed a love for analysis and process improvement.
I followed opportunities within the government contracting (transportation and logistics) industry and gained experiences and understanding - both cultural and professional: at home on the beautiful Central Coast; Los Angeles metro area; San Francisco Bay metro area; Montgomery County, MD; Prince William County and surrounding Northern Virginia area; Washington, D.C.; and the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
During these various assignments I was able to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management, a Master's of Business Administration, complete the majority of a B.S. Culinary Arts (a personal passion project), and I am currently pursuing an MSW (Master of Social Work) to focus on mental health and substance use disorders among employees, management, and executive roles.
The recipient of multiple national industry awards for operational and safety performance, I thrive in environments where I am able to provide objective analysis and feedback on varied aspects of an organization; then plan, implement, and refine solutions and continuous improvement. My varied background and desire for lifelong learning have allowed me to grow my interest in all aspects of an organization, as well as develop a high level of situational awareness and emotional intelligence – allowing me to effectively work with, communicate with, and train stakeholders at all levels of the organization; ranging from our front-line employees to executive boards and elected officials.
I truly feel blessed to be back home on the Central Coast near family and lifelong friends, and I am excited to share my experience and expertise with various businesses, individuals, and family organizations
